About the Friends of the Emerald Coast State Parks
The Friends of the Emerald Coast State Parks are a group of like minded individuals – who like you have a love of our State parks and a desire to support their recreational, environmental and economic value to the community.
Members of the Friends avidly promote the mission of the Florida Park Service intent on preserving and protecting our parks’ natural, cultural resources and we strive to enhance recreational opportunities for area visitors and residents.
The Friends of Emerald Coast State Parks is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that works on behalf of Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou & Henderson Beach State Park, whose goal is to improve and enhance the guests experience through services, improved facilities and interpretive programs. Funds generated through donations, membership dues, and services offered at the park go directly to support both parks. These funds are used to make improvements and repairs such as building projects, educational programs, equipment purchases, and interpretive displays to create an amazing experience for residents and visitors at both parks. Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of our growing organization.
